Kulturen is an open-air museum located in the heart of Lund, Sweden, just behind Lund Cathedral. It was founded in 1892 and is one of the oldest open-air museums in the world. The museum features historic buildings and exhibits that showcase Swedish life from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, including homes, workshops, and gardens. 

Sweden’s National Day is celebrated on June 6 each year.

Kronborg Castle, located in Helsingør, Denmark, is a 16th-century Renaissance fortress known as the setting of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Overlooking the Øresund Strait, it was once a key stronghold for collecting tolls from passing ships.

We decided to do some planting  this year, after comming back from Europe early.

We took a walk through Kensingmarket, which have changed a lot since our last visit.  Mostly eating places now, but a nice outing on a Sunday afternoon

A great trip to Ottawa

We had a great trip to Ottawa visiting family, and were invited to this wonderful winter experience.

A cousin reunion. 

Today we went for a walk around Helsingør, Denmark. This town is a historic coastal city known for Kronborg Castle, the setting of Shakespeare’s Hamlet. Located on the Øresund Strait, it has a rich maritime history and offers charming old-town streets, cultural sites, and scenic views across to Sweden. Perfect for an afternoon walk
